About Owen
Growing up I was always very interested in the car community, and when racing came into my life I knew this is what I wanted to do. Starting competitive racing at 15 after doing 2 previous years of Arrive and Drive, meant I had a late entry into the sport. With the help of my parents I was able to get my first go kart which was a Briggs and Stratton 4 Stroke. After racing in Briggs Junior and Senior for a couple years I was ready to make the jump to 2 stroke, the faster, more competitive and more expensive class. With me entering University and my parents focusing on my education I decided to make the jump and push the limits of how competitive I could be on a smaller budget that I worked to create for myself. As I continue on my racing journey it is truly my sponsors who help me along and keep me motivated. With everyday that I am in the kart, I want to show teenagers like me that sometimes in life you have to take a leap of faith, and follow your dreams! If you want it bad enough you will go and get it!
There are many different types of priorities in motor racing, the first being how much you are willing to sacrifice in order to get to where you want to go
